Real Talk Ambassador
Andolyn Medina
About

Andolyn Medina, Miss District of Columbia, joins us as a Real Talk Brand Ambassador in 2021/2022! She is a 4th-year doctoral candidate at George Washington University from Washington, D.C., studying clinical psychology and has two Masters degrees in Clinical Psychology and Forensic Psychology. In addition to serving as an ambassador, Andolyn also dedicates her time to combatting human trafficking and serves as a Naval Officer and therapist. Supporting Real Talk and Advanced Recovery Systems is important to her because both personally and professionally, I’ve seen how harmful substance abuse can be not only to the person but to those around them.  Through my work, I’ve learned that substance abuse is a coin mechanism to the pain and trauma people experience in their lives. I want to help folks to find healthier alternatives to healing, that doesn’t end in more devastation.
