
P.J. Havice is enthusiastic about ensuring efficient, effective, evidenced-based quality treatment for those affected by substance abuse. A lifelong resident of Colorado, P.J. has worked in the substance abuse treatment field for a few decades. Her background also includes working in public health, emergency management, corrections and disaster mental health. P.J. is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Addictions Counselor with a master’s degree.
As a federal disaster responder, P.J. is trained to respond to medical, mortuary and WMD events. She has responded to several covid epicenters, authored a field guide for planning for a pandemic, and been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan as a civilian. As the Executive Director at The Recovery Village at Palmer Lake, she strives to connect with patients and peers and finds inspiration in their lives and stories each day.
